Our building on St Mark's Road also has fantastic facilites which can be hired by residents, businesses and agencies.
Derwent Stepping Stones is an organisation passionate about the Derwent community and the needs of local families; we are flexible, responsive to local needs and continually innovating in terms of service development. We currently have 38 staff and 4 volunteers all totally committed to our work and believe strongly that what we do really does make a difference.
Our organisation has three main departments serving primarily the Derwent community in Derby.
· Full day care facility on site providing flexible, affordable, childcare for children aged 12 weeks to 14 years.

- NVQ level 2 Childcare
- nextstep free careers advice
- Drop in sessions for IT users on Thursday mornings
- Job Shop Thursdays 9.00 – 11.30
- Outreach careers service at local schools and health centres within the Derwent Ward
- Commercial room hire to accommodate between 8 & 40 people
- Fully equipped IT suite (12 workstations)
- Free hire of laptops, projectors and OHP’s
