Enjoying Derby
Brief description:
Enjoying Derby is a walking for wellbeing programme. There are walks every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon throughout the year, winter and summer. All walks are free and open to everyone. walks are between one and three miles long and last from one to three hours. Walks are themed - historical or natural history. Walkers can learn about aspects of Derby while exploring it from birdwatching to Art Deco architecture. We work in partnership with Derby Museums, Derby City Council, Derby College, voluntary sector organisations and specialist volunteers. There are opportunities for volunteers as walk leaders and a one day walk leader training course runs every three months.
